A Champion's Heart

Mr. Bachar's first film, shot with simple 8mm tape creating a gritty, aged documentary feel.  This short piece tells the story of an athlete's desire to achieve his ultimate goal.  Partly scripted, partly true documentary, this film won Bryan the award of Most Promising Filmmaker a the 2005 Davis Film Festival.

Paul Schon: Life of a Stripper

Created with the intent to dig into the opinions and thought-process of the American public towards male stripping, this documentary follows a young male as he works as an exotic dancer.  Light-hearted, yet, revealing, Life of a Stripper especially illustrates the strong double standards much of the American public possesses in regards to its view of male exotic dancers in comparison to female dancers.  All areas of production were covered by Bryan.

WARNING: Partial nudity is present during scenes of actual stripping footage.  During such scenes strongly suggestive sexual acts are also portrayed through male exotic dancing.  However, it is to be known this film is not pornographic in any way.  Mr. Bachar does not associate himself with pornography, nor will he ever in his cinematic career.  This film is meant to be an educational story of true life only.

The Night Girl

Mr. Bachar worked as Artistic Director on this short.  It is a dark comedy involving broken friendship, political backstabbing and murder.  The Night Girl represents Bryan's first project he worked on utilizing film stock and not digital media, such as Mini DV or 8mm tapes.

This project was made to appear as a cinematic trailer.  The film it represents tells a powerful story of hope, struggle and undying belief.  Mr. Bachar hopes to bring the full-length motion picture to life in the future.  All areas of production were done by Bryan.
